A new featurette video for Disney’s live-action reimaging of Snow White has been released.
Disney’s Snow White will be released in United States theaters in March 2024. A reimagining of Walt Disney Productions’ Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (which was released in 1937 and is based on the Snow White fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm), the film stars Rachel Zegler as the titular princess.

What is Disney’s Snow White about?
“Disney’s Snow White is a live-action musical reimagining of the classic 1937 film,” the official synopsis reads. “The magical music adventure journeys back to the timeless story with beloved characters Bashful, Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, and Sneezy.”
The film is directed by Marc Webb, whose previous filmography includes 2009’s (500) Days of Summer, 2012’s The Amazing Spider-Man, 2014’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2, 2017’s Gifted, and 2017’s The Only Living Boy in New York.
Marc Platt and Jared LeBoff both serve as producers on the movie, while Callum McDougall serves as executive producer. The film features new original songs from Benj Pasek and Justin Paul.
Zegler is known for playing María in 2021’s West Side Story, and Anthea in 2023’s Shazam! Fury of the Gods, and Lucy Gray Baird in 2023’s The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. She also recently starred in 2024’s Y2K and voiced Princess Ellian in 2024’s Spellbound.
Starring alongside Zegler in Snow White is Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen. Gadot is known for playing Diana Prince/Wonder Woman in the DCEU and Gisele in the Fast and Furious franchise, while her most recent film was 2023’s Heart of Stone. Ansu Kabia stars as the Huntsman in the film, while Andrew Burnap plays a new character named Jonathan.
Disney’s Snow White will be released in United States theaters on March 21, 2025.
