DeSantis kicks off 2024 U.S. presidential campaign after Twitter event plagued by technical problems

Ron DeSantis officially entered the contest for the Republican presidential nomination Wednesday, setting up several combative months of campaigning against Donald Trump. He could become one of the youngest presidents ever, and the first Florida governor to reach the Oval Office.
